Black Forest Chocolate Mousse
There is always room for a sweet treat, and this light, airy chocolate mousse really hits the spot.
With only four ingredients, this eggless mousse is quick and easy to make, with only a little effort. The addition of Toschi cherries and syrup takes it to a whole new level. Everyone will be asking for seconds.
Ingredients for Back Forest Chocolate Mousse
250ml Double Cream
30g Cocoa Powder
50g Icing Sugar
1 tablespoon Toschi Candied Cherries syrup
Toschi Candied Cherries for garnish
Method to Make Black Forest Chocolate Mousse.
- Pour your double cream into a mixing bowl and whip until thick and stands up on its own.
- Add your cocoa powder and icing sugar, folding in with a figure of 8 motion.
- Next, add your tablespoon of syrup from the Toschi cherries and whip back up to a thick consistency.
- Scoop into a piping bag and carefully pipe into shot glasses or small bowls.
- Place in the fridge for at least one hour to chill before serving.
- Prior to serving, top each portion with a single cherry.
